Personal Assistants, Estate Managers & Executive Assistants for the High Net Worth

Research tools for candidates who want to work for a billionaire

The worldwide demand for jobs with billionaires has never been greater. There are about 2,000 billionaires around the world, and about 25% are in the United States. Most of them employ small armies of staff: executive PA, social secretary, personal assistant, personal chef, yacht crew, nannies, etc. Here is an enlargeable map of these ultra-high-net-worth tycoons by state, industry, and city. Available hyperlinks will take you to additional resources.

How this map works

Each colored number on the map represents a billionaire on the Forbes list, and that number tells where they are in the ranking.  Industries include (by color code): finance, casinos, health, media, tech, food, manufacturing, real estate, natural resources, fashion/retail, energy, other.

Further, the data is sorted by “wealth origin”: inherited or self-made; as well as people who are expatriates (from overseas). Additional advice about working for a billionaire is available in the right sidebar.

Not even counting the billionaires, there are also about nine-million individuals who are millionaires in the United States, so that’s 180,000 per state. In short, the opportunities to work on the staff of a high net worth family as an estate manager, personal assistant, social secretary, nanny, security guard, or executive assistant are unprecedented in history.
