Who are the Kardashians and why do they have so many assistants?
The Kardashians -- also known as the Kardashian-Jenner family -- are reality TV stars living in the Los Angeles area. Their names are Kris, Kourtney, Kim, Khloe, and Rob.
The original patriarch of the family was Robert Kardashian, whose name first appeared prominently in the news because of the O.J. Simpson murder trial.
Eventually, the mother, Kris Kardashian, married retired Olympic athlete Bruce Jenner (who eventually became Caitlyn Jenner). Bruce and Kris had more children, Kendall and Kylie Jenner.
