Jeff Bezos' Personal Assistant
Working for one of the world's greatest business leaders, in any capacity, would be fabulous. But to be the right hand to legendary business mogul Jeff Bezos is another thing entirely. It goes without saying that the Amazon founder has many PAs and executive assistants, and here we will highlight a few.
Who are Jeff Bezos' assistants?
Ann Hiatt worked for Bezos in the early 2000s -- before he was declared the richest man in the world. So it goes without saying that she was there by his side as he rose to fame.
Generally speaking, assistants that serve CEOs, billionaires and business leaders have a variety of duties, which include but aren't limited to: Booking private jets, managing estates and domestic staff, as well as calendar management. Hiatt did all of that and more.
Being an assistant to Jeff Bezos also proved to be a great steppingstone because Hiatt went on to work for other Silicon Valley legends as a Chief of Staff.
Working for Bezos, though, doesn't come without any downsides. It can be relentless on days, and the demands of such a job aren't for everyone. Assistants who work at such an elite level must bring their A-game to work every single day of the week.

What's it like to work for Jeff Bezos?
When speaking about her former work with Bezos, Hiatt describes it as rewarding. After she had proven herself, she described the Amazon founder as someone who was completely invested in her success, even pushing her to be more than she thought she could be. And a message from Bezos himself seems to back that up. For Administrative Professionals Day, Jeff posted a message from his official Instagram account to another one of his assistants, John Connors. Here is the message:
"John Connors has been my executive assistant for the last 19 years. He thinks ahead, sweats the details, and makes things fun. On this #AdministrativeProfessionalsDay, I want to say thank you. You’re a big reason I’m able to be so busy and not go nuts — in fact, you somehow even make it calm! Thank you, John!"
Being an assistant to Jeff Bezos must be especially difficult because of all the estates, superyachts, staff, and exotic car fleets that have to be managed worldwide.
