Elon Musk's personal assistant
Being the personal assistant to Elon Musk would the real life equivalent of Pepper Potts from Iron Man legend. They say that art imitates life and life imitates art. Who could have imagined when Iron Man was conceived in 1963 that one day someone like Elon Musk would step into the real-life role?
As the old saying goes: Behind every great man is a great woman. For Tony Stark, that was Pepper Potts. And, as one would imagine, Elon Musk, too, would need an extraordinary PA to help him run his global empire. For 12 years, that person was Mary Beth Brown.

What's it like to be Elon Musk's personal assistant?
In one word: Super Busy. Ok, that's two words. But just think about it. Elon Musk is a genius, and probably only sleeps a few hours a night. When assistants work for high-profile CEOs, they often keep the same hours. So, if your boss is working 18 hours a day, then so is the PA.
As the legend goes, Brown helped bring Musk up when he wasn't so high-profile in the world yet. SpaceX and Tesla weren't quite the superpowers that they are today in 2024. Brown traveled back and forth between the companies, and we assume it was on private jets owned by the company.
Musk's assistant maintained his calendars -- personal and professional -- and kept his life in order. None of this is in dispute. What is contested is how the assistant's tenure ended. There are rumors that she was fired because she asked for a raise; however, Musk himself has disputed this as "nonsense." In this case, we have to side with Musk because the other story just doesn't seem realistic.
