If you do the math, the saved time business owners have allows them to focus on their own business, which will enable the endeavor to thrive. Why would an entrepreneur want to run around town doing errands or walking pets when you can have a personal assistant do it?
Nowadays, personal assistants are so much more than errand runners, though. If you hire the right person, they will by multifaceted, which means they will be a hybrid PA and executive assistant. Having your "right hand" managing your calendars and setting appointments for you is much more productive than doing it yourself.
