Woody Harrelson's personal assistant
There has been a long list of celebrities that married "regular people," but there is an even shorter list of celebrities who married their personal assistants. Well, you can add Woody Harrelson's personal assistant to that list.
Laura Louie is married to Woody Harrelson, but she used to be his assistant; and the way that they met is quite a story. When Harrelson was on the TV show Cheers, there was a group of students from UCLA that visited the sound stage to watch a taping. That part isn't so unusual because many students had visited before, but was it was the first and only time that Woody had a Q & A session with the students.
It just so happened that Harrelson was looking for an assistant at the time, so at the end of the session, he asked if any of the students had secretarial skills. Louie raised her hand, so Woody invited her to his home for an interview the next day and hired her on the spot to become his personal assistant.
