The Visitor Operations Teams in London and Windsor are responsible for managing public access to The King’s Gallery, the Royal Mews, Windsor Castle, and the annual Summer Opening of the Buckingham Palace State Rooms.
Our frontline teams welcome thousands of visitors from around the world to these magnificent places. Working at the heart of our operations in this new role, you’ll help ensure first-rate recruitment and training provision so that our teams have what they need to deliver an exceptional visitor experience every time.
Key Responsibilities
The post can be based at either Buckingham Palace or Windsor Castle, but with regular travel between the two. To support events and other operational requirements, there will be occasional weekend and evening work.

Key Responsibilities
- You’ll coordinate recruitment plans and align resources and timetables across sites.
- Working closely with HR colleagues, you’ll help ensure the smooth running of recruitment campaigns (including high-volume) and the delivery of an exceptional candidate experience.
- As point of contact for new recruits, you’ll make sure they have everything they need ahead of their first day.
- You’ll also coordinate logistical preparations for new starters, including uniforms, security, systems access, and make sure induction plans are in place.
- Once in post, you’ll coordinate training provision to ensure our teams have the skills they need.

About you
- Previous administration experience, ideally in a similar environment or role.
- Highly organized, you can prioritize a varied workload to meet deadlines.
- A confident communicator, you’re comfortable liaising with a wide range of people in person, via phone/video call and over email taking a customer and service focused approach.
- Able to prepare written materials for different audiences, you have a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- At your best working as part of a fast-paced team, you can quickly establish strong professional relationships with a range of stakeholders.
- Digitally fluent, including proficiency using MS Word and Excel, you can quickly learn new systems.
- Proactive and with lots of initiative, you can work without close supervision.
