The company IPX1031 conducted a survey and found that one in four Americans claim to have found a hidden camera inside of a rental property. Additionally, about six of ten people are worried about hidden cameras inside of places they are staying. Since UHNWIs often stay in luxury villa rentals, this is a problem for the personal assistants who work for billionaires because they want to protect their bosses. 

Are billionaires and celebrities at risk for being secretly recorded?

It's a well-known fact that property owners use electronic devices like GPS tracking and video cameras to protect their rental properties and superyachts. Just how many people are secretly recording celebrities and billionaires is unknown. If an ultra-high-net-worth individual travels with a security detail, then an advance team would be responsible for "sweeping" before the VIP enters the property or superyacht.
