Our UHNW client is searching for a traveling assistant and pet wrangler for his eclectic mix of animals. This role is based in New York City, but the principal has many properties domestically and internationally. The ideal candidate has:
This role has been difficult to fill for the client because he is looking for a special set of skills, and animal lovers often have their own pets, which prevents candidates from being on the road.
The assistant's main responsibility is to care for the pets: feeding, walking, taking to vet, keeping them clean in-between visits to the groomers, etc.
- Experience working for celebrities or high-profile families
- A genuine love for animals
- Knowledge of the private aviation world
- At least five years of experience as a PA
- Ability to travel for weeks at a time
- Demonstrated experience working on complex estates
- Thick skin and the ability to juggle
- A "roll up the sleeves" and get-it-done mentality
