Entry level personal assistant to an UHNWI in NYC
Job Description
JOB POSTING: NY1234 (FILLED)
TITLE: Personal Assistant (2nd position)
LOCATION: New York City, NY, USA ("Billionaires' Row")
INDUSTRY: Finance
HOURS: Full time + (on call 24/7)
TRAVEL: Some domestic and intl. travel required
EDUCATION LEVEL: Relevant BA strongly preferred
(e.g., Business, Marketing, Communications, etc.)
PRIOR EXPERIENCE: 1 year of PA experience or equivalent (e.g., 5-star hospitality)
PAY: Strong comp package included with benefits
.
Our client is a star on the Wall Street scene and is looking for a personal assistant (2nd position). You would primarily be working out of his residence on "Billionaires' Row" in Manhattan. This position will normally be for nights and weekends with the Senior Personal Assistant is off.
Essentially, this is a well-paid apprenticeship as you will be groomed to take over the Senior PA role. Training and orientation could take a year, so you must have the resilience and perseverance to take the "odd work shifts" in order to work your way up.
This role is not for the faint of heart because you will be working in a Lifestyle Management capacity with very tough deadlines, last-minute requests, and "tall orders." You will have a strong spending budget to meet the expectations.
Many strong letters of recommendation from previous employers are required. You must pass a background check, driving record review, have clean credit, and sign a non-disclosure agreement.
Candidates with previous Lifestyle Management, hospitality experience, or PA experience supporting a high-profile individual get special consideration. Experience in private aviation is a big plus.
Candidates with less than 1 year tenure at any employer will not be considered, and assistants with a solid track record of 2 or 3 years of tenure at previous employers will make the top of the list.
This is a no excuses, "get it done position," and the candidate must have a "can do" attitude at all times. Do you have what it takes?
Finally, candidates MUST have a passport and experience with international travel.
