Should you use a flute or coupe to drink Champagne?
We posed this question to the LinkedIn community, and people are split right down the middle. It seems to matter on preference, style, the occasion, and whether or not you want the bubbles to be retained.
Drinking Champagne is a very personal experience. There are so many different preferences. Whether or not you like Moët or Cristal is one matter, but how will you drink it? In a flute or coupe glass?
What is sparkling wine and what is Champagne?
Generally speaking, people are liberal with the word "Champagne." For a beverage to be called Champane, then it must come from the correct wine region in France. Otherwise, it's technically sparkling wine.
