Personal assistant in the art world
We all know that being a personal assistant to high-net-worth families can be difficult, especially if you are a PA in the art world. A recent assistant job ad posted on the New York Foundation for the Arts website is being called the worst personal assistant job ever.
To make a very long story short, the job ad was a sort of real-life Devil Wears Prada because the couple who posted the job sounded snobbish and demanding, and the role only started at a meager $65,000. In New York City, that literally wouldn't even cover your rent.

What's it like to be a personal assistant in the New York art world?
Every niche industry has it's pros and cons: fashion, entertainment, and of course art. To speak plainly, the art world isn't exactly known for being polite. In short, it's snobbish. Any personal assistant thinking about working in that scene would need to have very thick skin.
For the job in question, it isn't very much money; but for someone who is brand new to the personal assistant profession and needed to build a resume, then this would be the job to do it.
