Location: Greater San Francisco, California (Silicon Valley: San Jose)
We are looking for an Executive Assistant to the CEO to join our team in one of today’s most exciting technologies. This position will report directly to the CEO and will practice outstanding effective communications; unquestionable discretion and confidentiality; and independent judgment in the planning, prioritization, and execution of strategic projects, tasks, demands, and assignments that support both internal and external stakeholders.
As the Executive Assistant to our Chief Executive Officer, you will play an integral role as you leverage your high degree of confidence, integrity, and professionalism. This exceptional candidate demonstrates strong leadership acumen has an exceptional collaborative work style, is well organized and effectively multi-tasks and prioritizes in a rapidly changing business environment.
The successful candidate must be able to operate in a fast paced, high demand organization and operate with impeccable professional finesse; accuracy, and quality assurance. The focus of this role is to skillfully manage a broad array of projects and tasks working directly with senior leaders within and outside of the company.

Role and Responsibilities:
- Ability to present oneself as a representative of the CEO’s office, and Bloom Energy, to a large and diverse internal and external audience
- Ability to communicate effectively with C-level executives, Board members, and other high-level clients and distinguished guests, and line-level employees, with equal dexterity, respect, and composure
- Makes high-level contacts of a sensitive nature inside and outside the company; and handles information and details of a highly confidential and critical nature.
- Resiliency: Ability to diplomatically and constructively, but firmly, ensure objectives are met.
- Ability to mold interactions, tone, style etc. as needed based on the changing demands on the executive and the multiple internal and external customers and points-of-contact that continually access the executive offices.
- Uses discretion to make decisions on projects and programs that support executives and ensures projects and programs required for success are driven to completion.
- Manages and books executive travel: Proactively coordinates the pre-planning of trips with various internal functions, including agendas and necessary contacts, information and other necessary preparations.
- Master of time management to drive executive effectiveness. Seeks and uses understanding of C-level priorities to maximize value of time spent. Regularly manages executive calendars to ensure focus on highest priorities, strategy and thinking time.
- Builds strong relationships up and across the organization.
- Reacts quickly to change and supports others through change management initiatives.
- Prepares presentations up to and including Board-level decks.
- Ensures that various administrative tasks are completed in an effective and efficient manner, including drafting correspondence, screening phone calls and maintaining executive files. Processes and maintains expense records for executive.
Skills and Experience:
- Ability to speak clearly and succinctly relative to needs, questions, goals, etc. Must be direct in asking for clarification, guidance, opinions etc. of the executive to ensure accurate delivery on commitments, scheduling needs, meeting set-up, etc.
- Deep knowledge of MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint), videoconferencing and a quick study in understanding and learning new technology tools.
- Project Management skills/ability to prioritize work and balance several work streams.
- Ability to stay focused, flexible, efficient, and effective in managing multiple priorities and tight deadlines with grace and poise.
- Experience and confidence in independent problem resolution and decision-making.
- Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment.
- Exceptional ethical standards, empathy, sense of humor and ability to work with diverse personalities.
- Reliable and accessible: Available in the office during normal working hours and available during off hours, as needed.
Education/Experience:
- Minimum of 10 year’s Executive Assistant experience preferred
- Prior roles supporting EVP or other C-suite roles
- College degree preferred
