Amazon is seeking a dedicated, resourceful, self-motivated Lead Executive Assistant to support the Vice President, Device & Services Design Group (DDG), and manage a team of Executive Assistants.
This role requires attention to detail, understanding business priorities, organizational skills, meeting tight deadlines, juggling multiple critical requests across internal and external stakeholders, and proactively anticipating needs and driving improvements across the DDG leadership team.
A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information and professionalism in dealing with senior executives inside and outside of the company is critical. The candidate will be comfortable in a fast-paced, goal-focused environment while maintaining flexibility, a sense of humor, and composure.
Candidate must understand business priorities, demonstrate the ability to proactively anticipate needs and drive improvements to build capacity for the leadership team. A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information as well as professionalism in dealing with senior executives inside and outside of the company is critical.
The successful candidate will possess the ability to complete complex tasks quickly with little to no guidance, react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround, and take effective action without having to know the whole picture. The ideal candidate must be able to manage a team of Executive Assistants and build effective working relationships inside and outside the group.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $79,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $176,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Key job responsibilities
- Management of complex calendar and scheduling to support teams in multiple locations
- Manage domestic and international travel
- Manage expense reports
- Organize, execute, and assist with team activities (staff meeting agendas, all-hands meetings, off-sites, etc.
- Track and help drive completion of key deliverables and follow up on outstanding items
- Act as a liaison for direct reports
- Manage a team of executive assistants, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
- Work closely with the leadership team, recruiting and other Executive Assistants to provide support to the organization
- Document writing, editing, and readiness
- Plan morale and team building activities
- Maintain and organize confidential information and files.
- Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and other documents.
- Coordinate and organize team events and meetings

Basic Qualifications
- 6+ years of executive assistant experience
- Experience with managing a team of Executive Assistants
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail, desire, and aptitude for learning new skills and systems quickly
- Detailed planning, time management, and organizational skills are required
- Able to work efficiently and accurately when under pressure to meet tight deadlines
- High levels of integrity, judgment, and discretion in handling confidential information
- Ability to demonstrate initiative as well as accept direction
- Ability to independently handle multiple projects and competing priorities across a diverse set of stakeholders and be flexible to help cover other tasks when they arise

- BA Degree
- Experience designing processes to maximize efficiency
- Meets/exceeds Amazon’s leadership principles requirements for this role
- Meets/exceeds Amazon’s functional/technical depth and complexity for this role
