About the role
Our client is a professional athlete (At this stage, we are not disclosing if it is NHL, NFL, NBA, or MLB).
We are seeking a very seasoned Personal Assistant who is also a hybrid House Manager. Most of the traveling with the athlete will be handled by a subordinate assistant. This senior position will spend most of the time at the estate in the NYC area:
We are seeking a very seasoned Personal Assistant who is also a hybrid House Manager. Most of the traveling with the athlete will be handled by a subordinate assistant. This senior position will spend most of the time at the estate in the NYC area:
- Previous experience with a professional athlete is desired
- Adept at managing household staff: housekeepers, chefs, security personnel, vendors, etc.
- Working knowledge of private aviation a must (knowledge of yachting desired)
- Experience interfacing with lawyers, managers, doctors, agents, publicity reps, etc.
- Must be a wizard with calendar management (personal and professional)
- Must be able to work 50 hours a week (off season) and 60 hours (on season)
- Must be able to make 2 or 3 domestic trips a year to cover vacations for the traveling assistants (weeks at a time)
This role requires a lot of resourcefulness, resilience, and adaptability. The candidate needs a very high level of emotional intelligence and leadership capability. When storms hit, the PA is the captain of the ship and should be stoic and steady.
