About the role
Our high-profile celebrity client has decided to leave California for good and permanently relocate to New York City. We are seeking a very experienced Personal Assistant to act in a private concierge capacity to oversee the entire relocation from A to Z. The ideal candidate:
- Has intimate knowledge of both Los Angeles and NYC
- Is experienced at working with high-profile families
- Has knowledge of the LA and New York City real estate market
- Is well-versed in project management with many moving parts
- Has a strong "black book" of contacts
- Is resourceful and can operate independently with little to no supervision
- Has prior experience with complex domestic and/or international relocations
The candidate will offer 360-degree support, which includes selling the home in the Los Angeles area and shopping for a new property in New York City.
Once a new property is selected in NYC, the candidate will supervise the sale of the LA home and move the entire contents to New York City. In short, the candidate needs to be a master of logistics and ensure the valuable property arrives undamaged. Please take note:

The client will give the PA a list of "non-negotiables" the new property must have. The candidate will shop and make a short list, and the client will choose one and close the deal.
The candidate is responsible for making sure the celebrity's contents in Los Angeles are properly insured, create a budget for the move, and then execute.
NOTE: We estimate the entire cycle of planning, listing, selling, and moving will take a year. The candidate is guaranteed the entire contract, even if it only takes, for example, nine months to complete the cycle.
This role is being created for the express purpose of taking all responsibility off the hands of the celebrity and his current executive assistant because they are involved on another big project at this time.
