The White House has confirmed that President Biden's personal assistant is stepping down from his position and will be working for the Department of Transportation instead.
The "body man," Stephen Goepfert, has worked for Joe Biden for three years. Biden was all praise when speaking about Goepfert saying that "he's been a trusted and loyal confidant."

Goepfert began his role with Biden as a personal aide when the presidential campaigns were ongoing. Before that, Stephen was in Biden's inner circle because he was senior advisor to the vice president's chief of staff, Steve Ricchetti, at the time.
