HOURS: Full time, 40+ (on call 24/7)
TRAVEL: Yes (based on schedule)
EDUCATION LEVEL: Degree strongly preferred 
PRIOR EXPERIENCE: 5 years minimum
PAY RANGE: Ultra-competitive  (plus year-end bonus, health insurance, and a company car)

JOB DESCRIPTION: We are currently seeking a phenomenal assistant to support a major A-list star in the Los Angeles/Hollywood area. This is truly a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for the right career assistant. 

This is a very demanding role, which requires the PA to always be resourceful and optimistic. A can-do attitude is required at all times. Make no mistake, you have to hit the ground running full speed with this job. 

This role requires the assistant juggle multiple projects, some of which have very tight deadlines. In other words, moving mountains is something you will be doing every day. This is a very rewarding position, and candidates in the past have moved up in the company; and some have even helped produce movies with the star. While the role is very demanding, the employer is known as one of the best in the industry. 

Essentially, this role is an Executive Personal Assistant, and you will have a subordinate assistant that you can assign duties to. You will also be working hand-in-hand with the Estate Manager who runs multiple properties. 

Some of the job duties/expectations include but are not limited to:
  • Liaison to agent, business manager, lawyer, producers, publicity reps, personal trainer, nutritionist, etc. 
  • Prior experience working in the Entertainment industry required, preferably motion pictures
  • Familiarity with locations/layout of the studio lots: Sony, Warner Bros, 20th Century Fox, Disney, etc. 
  • Prior experience working on movie sets preferred as you will be dealing with make-up artists, stylists, etc.
  • Heavy calendar management, both personal and professional. Must show extreme flexibility with last-minute changes, which causes a "domino effect" and requires revamping the entire plan.
  • Must be a master with technology, especially with all of the mainstream Microsoft products: Outlook, Word, Excel, etc. This position requires that you sometimes make complex Excel spreadsheets from scratch. 
  • During times with the Principal is filming, extra-long days will be required, but this is balanced during "off-peak" times (and the handsome salary takes the long hours and being on call 24/7 into consideration). 

Very strong letters from prior employers are required, and they must be verifiable. 

Qualified candidates will be given the full job description and receive the salary range prior to interviewing.
