Final thoughts to jobseekers who are trying to land their dream jobs in 2023

Candidates usually need help with interviews. Many job seekers are not very good at marketing themselves, which is understandable. Interviewing is a skill, and like any skill, it has to be practiced and perfected. The only problem, though, is that most job seekers only change jobs every two or three years. So, for example, if you only drove a car once every four years, then you wouldn't be very good at it, right? Interviewing is no different.

As a recruiter, I have seen amazingly skilled candidates completely blow their opportunity at a dream job because they were unable to market themselves effectively. We call it building a personal brand, which takes a 360-degree look at how you are perceived by employers.

How to prepare for interviews

If you want to prepare for a job interview, then you have to do exhaustive research on the company. It's your job as an applicant to go into the interview and prove to them that you have "done your homework" on the company. If you can demonstrate that you know the company's mission and culture, then you have a much better job at scoring the job.
