$10,000 SIGNING BONUS: The candidate must be willing to start ASAP and will be out of the country for Christmas and New Year's Eve.
TITLE: Personal Assistant
LOCATION: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA
INDUSTRY: Professional sports
HOURS: Full time, 40+ (on call 24/7, including weekends)
TRAVEL: Yes, must be available to leave at any time as there is frequent travel
EDUCATION LEVEL: BA degree required
PRIOR EXPERIENCE: 5 years minimum (10 years strongly preferred)
PAY RANGE: Ultra-competitive (plus a discretionary year-end bonus based on performance, health insurance, company car, and a laptop computer)
RELOCATION: Yes, for the right candidate (local candidates get special consideration)
JOB DESCRIPTION: Our client is a professional athlete with a very busy life. He needs a well-rounded personal assistant with prior experience working with a celebrity or high-net-worth individual. Prior experience in professional sports is preferred. A BA degree in Sports Communication, Sports Management, or a related field in Entertainment would be ideal but not required.
The candidate should be based in Philadelphia but must have the flexibility to leave town frequently, so the assistant can't have any attachments whatsoever.
The personal assistant will interface with the Chief of Staff and, ideally, the candidate should have prior experience working in large estates staffed with chefs, security personnel, gardeners, etc.
Candidates must have strong and verifiable references from former employers. No job hoppers, please. Assistants with 3 to 5 years of experience at each employer will have special consideration.
