When working for a billionaire or ultra high net worth family, personal assistants will need to have “out of the box” problem-solving skills. For example, VIP groups will often have dozens or even hundreds of pieces of luggage with them. Getting the baggage to and from the airport presents logistical issues that will need patience and fortitude.
In the movie Coming to America (1988) with Eddie Murphy, the comical photo below illustrates all the luggage from just one prince, but in real-life it can be much more of a chore when traveling with dozens of people in a VIP group, like the Saudi Royal family for example.
In short, the lesson is that one must plan ahead to meet the needs of the VIP client.
