PAY RANGE: $67,00 to $70,000 (based on experience)
JOB DESCRIPTION: We are currently seeking a personal assistant to a super-star celebrity athlete in the Los Angeles area. Prior experience with a sports figure or team owner is ideal. Because the star is involved in a number of charities and associated with many Hollywood A-listers, prior exposure to public relations and the entertainment industry is strongly desired.
The PA should be adaptable, thick-skinned and resilient because the VIP’s schedule is constantly changing. Heavy calendar management is required, and since the athlete has several large estates, the assistant will need prior experience managing domestic staff: gardeners, maids, nannies, and other types of vendors that service mansions.
The assistant should have executive assistant skills (like proficiency with MS Office products) because the occasional stint in the athlete’s office will be required, and must be able to leave town on a moment’s notice, so any attachments that would prevent someone from being gone for a week or two will disqualify the applicant.
Strong recommendation letters, credit check, background check and personality test will be required.
